The Keyskill Company is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how all personal information collected via Keyskill.com is used. This is a legal document and it should be read in conjunction with Keyskill’s Terms and Conditions, of which this Privacy Policy forms part.

1. The information we gather:

The Keyskill Company collects information from you on registration. You provide your name, your email address, some information about your Organisation and some optional information. They are available to you and can be changed. We may also collect information from you when you make a transaction for Paid for Services including details of your payment cards used.

We may collect additional information in connection with your participation in any promotions or competitions offered by us and information you provide when giving us feedback or completing profile forms.

We collect information from users via the learning management system integrated with the Keyskill Website. This system will record assessment results from Multiple Choice Questions and publish them in each user’s learning account. It will also track the progress of a user over the website, so that a user may return to the Website and be offered the opportunity to resume at the last place viewed.

Cookies: we use small files known as ‘cookies’ to enhance users’ experience of the Keyskill Website and to hold Members’ and Users’ login information.

2. Sharing and use of information

We will not supply your personal data to a third party for commercial exploitation. We will share these details among Keyskill’s business activities at home and abroad and businesses that process this information on our behalf, (e.g customer services that need your information). We like to hear your views to help us improve our service. From time to time we may contact you for customer feedback. If you do not want to be contacted for these purposes, please make your choice when completing your Contact details.

Please note that there maybe instances where it may be necessary for us to communicate with you for administrative or operational reasons relating to our service.

Email addresses: When you communicate through the Keyskill Website, for example in a Discussion Forum, or by email, with other members and users (including contributors, tutors, employers, learners, students and employees), we do make your email addresses available to them. Your email address is available to an authorised Member if you access the Website through the authorised Member.

User’s Test Results: If you are a user of the assessment activities, your test results may be available to your tutor/professor/employer/mentor and other educational bodies.

User’s Progress: when users use the website they consent to their progress being tracked by the learning management system. This progress may be made available to a tutor/professor/employer/mentor and educational bodies.

Disclosure for legal reasons: We reserve the right to communicate such of a Member’s personal information as we hold, to third parties which seek disclosure of it, and which make a legally-compliant request for its disclosure.

Our Website may contain links to other websites. These websites are outside our control and are not covered by this Privacy Policy. If you access other sites using the links provided, the operators of these sites may collect information from you which will be used by them in accordance with their privacy policy, which may differ from ours.

“Cookies” are small pieces of information sent by a web server to a web browser, which enables the server to collect information from the browser. Keyskill uses cookies to: -

Whilst you do not need to allow your browser to accept cookies in order to browse our website you must have cookies enabled if you wish to purchase online or access areas reserved for registered users.

We have security measures in place to protect our customer database and access to this database is restricted internally. However, it remains each Member’s responsibility:

to protect against unauthorised access to your Details;

to ensure against use by unauthorised users of the Keyskill Service through the machine that the Member uses while they are logged on to the Keyskill Service;

to log off or exit from the Keyskill Service when not using it; and

to keep the password secret.

You also agree not to divulge or use any personal information of others contained on the website in any way that is illegal or inappropriate.
